On May 17, 2003 two of our active flotilla members were joined in marriage. Steve Blaho and Bonnie Pottok (FSO/PS-67) tied the knot at the Croton Yacht Club on the banks of the Hudson River.
Who needs a limousine when you have a launch? In true nautical style, they were delivered to the yacht club aboard Launch 5 - one of our flotilla's operational facilities owned and piloted by coxswain Greg "Sparky" Porteus (SO/PA-06). Cliff Forrest, Janet Morra and Lynn Valenti were crew and honor guard - all buffed out in their dress uniform. But it was the white dress and black tuxedo of our bride and groom that really classed up the scene. Below are photos of the happy couple being delivered. (photos by Paige Flori (FSO/PA-67)).
